Training Surfers in June

June in Oz is busy for training surfers – particularly grommets, to prepare them for the Occy [Snapper Rocks] and Skullcandy [Lennox Head] grommet events. Besides grommets, there’s also preparation work with WQS and Challenger level surfers [Fred Carmody and Lucy Darragh] before the start of their overseas competition campaigns.
